Today, we are pleased to announce that the Second Look Museum & Library Program is officially accepting applications.
Professional Recognition Through Membership
The Second Look Museum & Library Program recognizes qualifying professionals whose careers are dedicated to preserving, protecting, interpreting, and sharing knowledge.
Approved participants receive a Complimentary Archivist Membership, providing full Archivist-level access while preserving the existing Second Look membership structure.
This is not a temporary discount, promotional giveaway, or separate membership tier. It is professional recognition extended to people whose work supports curiosity, discovery, preservation, and public access to knowledge.
Who May Qualify?
The program is intended for qualifying professionals working with museums, libraries, archives, historical societies, preservation organizations, and related cultural or educational institutions.
Depending on their role and institution, applicants may include:
- Librarians and library professionals
- Museum professionals
- Archivists
- Curators
- Collections and preservation specialists
- Historical society professionals
- Special-collections professionals
- Other qualifying institutional staff whose work supports preservation and public access to knowledge
