How Many Can You Explain?

Every Answer Begins with a Question.

Most of us know about far more things than we can actually explain.

Take a moment and ask yourself:

Why are flamingos pink?

Why do clocks run clockwise?

What is the Taos Hum?

Why don't birds get electrocuted?

Why did everyone stop building airships?

Why is Roman concrete still standing?

Why are there no bridges across the Amazon River?

Why do we yawn?

You probably recognized every one of those questions.

But could you confidently explain each answer?

That's where curiosity begins.

Not when we know.

When we realize there is more to learn.

At Second Look, every investigation starts with a question worth asking and follows the evidence wherever it leads. Some questions have clear answers. Others are still being investigated. All of them have something fascinating to teach us about the world.

So...

How many could you explain?

And perhaps more importantly...

What's Your Question?

Explore hundreds of investigations covering science, technology, engineering, archaeology, psychology, history, nature, and the unexplained.

Question Everything.
